This spot was almost entirely created in Adobe After Effects with background environments crafted in Adobe Photoshop. Using 2.5D, 3D camera moves were executed with art layers sorted on the Z-plane for added depth while retaining a charming 2D style.

The animation was a success for Breakthru's distribution partners that saw a marked increase in soju and sake sales the following 2 quarters – which just goes to show that sometimes seeing is believing.
